Flora Kimani, PhD

Flora Kimani, PhD manages the overall operations at Peapod Bio Inc. She has over a decade of experience leading assay development and high-throughput screening drug discovery projects for enzyme and non-enzyme targets. She is an expert assay scientist, designing label-free mass spectrometry and optical assays for measuring enzyme activity and proximity. Kimani is a proven leader, having managed teams of scientists helping them achieve their career goals and maximize their potential. Prior to Peapod Bio, Kimani was a Senior Scientist at Charles River Labs following its acquisition of SAMDI Tech, Inc where she was a Scientist leading affinity selection mass spectrometry (ASMS) screening efforts. Kimani received her doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Arizona and a postdoctoral fellowship in immuno-engineering at the University of Chicago.
