Patrick O’Kane, PhD 

Patrick O’Kane, PhD oversees all technical operations at Peapod Bio. He has multidisciplinary experience in organic chemistry, assay development, high-throughput screening, technology development, mass spectrometry, and data science. He brings proven expertise at the interface of surface chemistry, MALDI mass spectrometry, and biological impact, designing innovative assays for challenging biochemical targets. O’Kane has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and possess years of experience leading drug discovery projects from assay development through screening and implementing custom data analysis workflows. Prior to Peapod Bio, O’Kane was a Group Leader at Charles River Labs following its acquisition of SAMDI Tech, Inc where he was a Senior Scientist leading assay development and high-throughput screening projects. He received his doctorate in chemistry from Northwestern University.
